I’m thrilled to share exciting news! I was invited by our AZBC secretary to attend the closing ceremony of the Academic Innovation Champions Program at Curtin University, in partnership with Microsoft.

What’s the Buzz About?

The Academic Innovation Champions Program is a dynamic initiative that brings together bright minds, cutting-edge technology, and a passion for innovation. Here’s the scoop:

  1. Immersive Educational Experiences:
    • The program aimed to create immersive educational experiences for students, leveraging Microsoft-supported technologies and platforms.
    • Think virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and mind-bending simulations. It’s higher education reimagined.
  2. Championing Future Innovators:
    • Participants—the champions—were the stars of the show. They dove into projects, explored uncharted #EdTech territories, and pushed boundaries.
    • Their presentations? Mind-blowing. Their dedication? Inspiring.

My Impressions

I was a front-row witness to this innovation extravaganza. Here’s what impressed me:

  1. Participant Presentations:
    • From solving real-world problems to envisioning the future, the participants’ presentations were nothing short of brilliance.
    • Their ideas spanned industries—healthcare, sustainability, finance, health, you name it. I was inspired.
  2. Event Organisation:
    • Kudos to the organisers! The event was flawlessly executed. Every detail—from seamless transitions to engaging sessions—was meticulously planned.
    • It’s proof that when academia, industry, and technology collide, magic happens.
