Who We Are

The Australia Zambia Business Council (AZBC) is a non-political, not-for-profit organization dedicated to fostering collaboration and partnerships between Australia and Zambia. Established under the Associations Act WA, AZBC creates a platform for businesses, investors, and professionals to connect, share knowledge, and explore opportunities.

Our Vision

To create a thriving business ecosystem that leverages the unique strengths of both Australia and Zambia, driving sustainable growth and prosperity.

Our Mission

To facilitate trade, investment, and professional development by providing platforms for networking, collaboration, and advocacy, while aligning with the economic priorities of both nations.

What We Do

  • Host events and conferences to promote bilateral trade.
  • Facilitate trade delegations and business exchanges.
  • Provide business advisory and advocacy services.
  • Share insights and opportunities for collaboration.

The Executive Committee

The AZBC Objectives

Objective 1
To engage both Australian and Zambian business communities and bring awareness of business opportunities of partnering with each nation.
Objective 2
To provide a platform for partnerships in business or otherwise between Australia and Zambia.
Objective 3
To create further opportunities for investment between Australia and Zambia.
Objective 4
To afford to its members all the usual privileges, advantages, conveniences and accommodations of an Association.
Objective 5
To promote the interests of Zambian and Australian business owners and professionals in Australia.
Objective 7
To provide a means of networking between AZBC members.
Objective 7
To partner with media outlets in the promotion/awareness of business opportunities in Zambia and Australia.
Objective 8
Promote the export of both Australian and Zambian natural resources, agricultural products, manufactured products, professional services and intellectual property.
Objective 9
To disseminate information relating to trade opportunities and developments in Australia and Zambia to AZBC members.

The Australia Zambia Business Council acknowledges Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognises the continuing connection to lands, waters and communities.

We also wish to acknowledge and respect the continuing culture, strength, and resilience of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and pay our respects to Elders both past and present as well as our Indigenous members.
